Oh no!

Wow I'm shocked to have something to write about already. The scariest thing happened today(actually not so scary.)

Ok so for my school we have our winter formal "Deep Blue Destiny" (stupid name huh?) coming up. I can't go because i'm not 14 :'( . So any way I was sitting at a table eating lunch and there was this one guy named Peter sitting on the opposite side of the table from me. Other than him it was all girls at the table. My friend stands up to go talk to a teacher and my other friend goes to buy a snack. The other girls had to leave and pretty soon it's just me and Peter sitting at the table. The second my friend Veronica stands up, I think to myself that something awkward is going to happen. Peter turns his head up from his lunch and this conversation follows:

Peter: So, are you going to the dance?( asked very casually)
Me: No
Peter: Oh, because I was going to ask you to the dance.
Me:Yeah, s-sorry. (awkward silence some giggling on my part)
Luckily, Veronica came back just then saving more awkwardness.

Thank goodness I'm not going to that dance!
